Hi folks,
Well if all things go well, I'll be in a C6 4.2 soon, however I know a couple of the things that need to be addressed are:
New Serpentine belt
valve cover gaskets (small oil leak from area)
control arms
I should be able to do these all on my own, since I did these on my C5 2.8, however was advised that I can change the serpentine belt on the C6 without removing the entire front of the car
Does anyone have a writeup on the serpentine belt replacement procedure? Thnx

Maybe the belt was previously change. It has to be change on 75k miles if not I will sent you the proper instruction by Elsa for replacement of the belt.
Even on the engine model ( BNK ) You have to remove the bumper and the headlights.

Maybe we are. I just report by Elsawin how is done. It says that You have to bring the lock carrier in service position to be able to replace the belt. But if you have easier way, please, cause I have to replace mine after I find out what's wrong with my air suspension.

Any chance someone can write up something for us on the west coast. Lol
The local dealership advised that the car doesn't need to be in service position. But any tips would be appreciated to make the job go smoothly
