When you feel a difference in ride, change it..."
But, the car is still under warranty and it's not expressly written that shocks are not covered. I think I'll try to get them replaced free, when I take my car in to have the control arms replaced.
I was actually trying to track down a clunking when I noticed the oil on the shocks. I think both front upper control arms, on both sides, have bad bushings. I can move them all by hand with the suspension under load. This after I had the asked the dealer to look into it. I guess they didn't bother to do any thing but drive it.
Also found serious inside side-wall cracks on 3 of 4 tires, Conti ProContacts. I know it's been discussed before, but anybody that hasn't replaced their OEM Conti's better take a look.
