Sirius Radio Problem

I'm having intermittent problems with Sirius. It'll work for 15 or 20 minutes, then go dead with a "linking" message, and then come back. Sirius says it's a car problem. Anyone else having problems?

I always have problems recieving a signal when driving over our floating bridges here in Seattle. Seems like the water messes the signal up or something. I also get intermittancy when driving under overpasses. Other than that, no problems.

But they will give you free internet access to XM if you are a subscriber. Previously that was a $4.00 per month extra.

I've got similar problems in my wife's car ('05 A4 Cabriolet) that seem to occur when going over potholes. Don't know if it's the vibration loosening something or something else, but the dealer couldn't find anything wrong or replicate the problem in their parking lot (duh).
What happens if you just sit in your driveway listening to Sirius?

My trial period just ended and there is no way I'm going to pay for that service. I didn't think the content was all that great, and the signal was always cutting out. If I go SatRad again, it will be Sirius.

It will cut out just sitting. It's like an electrical connection that gets hot, breaks, cools, and reconnects. I'm afraid it won't happen when I take it to the dealer, too!

I have Sirius service for 4 months now, but not used it in my car yet. So I make use of it while working in my garage, and find that it cut's out now and then. I have it in a fixed position on the ground and no interferring entities between the antennae and space.
Needless to say that when I pass the antennae, it will absolutely cut out, but a few seconds later, which makes me believe that it has an internal buffer.

It's very strange for me. Driving around my neighborhood it cuts out repeatedly as I drive under trees.
Yet it never does that when I'm going under overpasses or through tunnels or (so far) through storms.
I like the programming though. I've been enjoying it a lot.
