Hi folks, it appears the Satellite tuner on my 2006 A6 4.2 has crapped out...I accidentally purchased the wrong part number online and went back and cross referenced the part number on ECS's website...totally my bad. My first question is this: if I'm still getting the Sirius preview station (channel 184) crystal clear, is it really the satellite tuner that is the problem? All the other channels are silent and the "linking" message appears on the MMI screen. My account with Sirius is paid-in-full and they keep trying to resend the signal with apparently no success. Obviously, I got a less than understandable answer from the stealership, and my indy guy was ready and willing to do the fix when I had my car in for some other work, only to find out I bought the wrong part. My inclination is I need either part# 4E0910593N or 4E0035593D. Would anyone be able to let me know for sure which part number I need and if the satellite tuner is actually the suspected culprit?
Many thanks everyone for your feedback!

I'd suggest just calling up a dealership parts dept, giving them your VIN and asking for the part# and price of the satellite tuner. That way, you're getting it from a good source.
I don't know anything about the innards of the satellite radio - but it's possible that it can receive the preview station correctly, but some failure or stray electron is preventing the other channels from working.
I personally had luck updating my MMI and getting my Sirius radio to show up and work.
