So it looks like the S6 gets 435hp, not 420hp as originally stated. No expected change in 0-60

I have the track and the Aston about 15 miles from my house.
I'll take that bet.
In fact, I also have the BMW test track about 30 miles away if you cant find a new M6. Just make sure you bring plenty of money.

it handles to boot... but of course it won't turn a track with the same numbers as a ferrari or a lambo. It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.

You didnt think I would take you up on it?
I happen to know a lot about BMW's and I happen to know what goes into BMW's design of cars, especially the M's.
The 5 and 6 series M's were not designed as supercars. They are to appeal to the executive that wants something different from everyone else.
The BMW 4.8 litre V8 could easily put out 500 horsepower and have just as smooth of a torque line, and weigh about 200 lbs less over the front wheels. This would make a better handling car, but the car would be just a little better than the 550 sport model.
I am assuming, but do not know for sure, the Audi took the same approach with the S6. Maybe you know more than me on that, however we are working hard at getting Audi to our Technology Center to do their testing too. That is why I now own an Audi.
