The result you have are normal because your loop it broken. The main unit cannot reach all the mmi parts. Try the optical bus test. In the vcds software you must go into application ans after go into optical bus diagnostic. Run the test and look at the result. With the result you gonna know which module is broken. And you gonna know if your problem is related to the electric or optical part. If you do the usual auto-scan you won't be able to know where is the problem.

RAJ - while i have no idea whats going on, I have read some posts about issues if the new battery is not coded correctly upon installation in the car. That may not apply to your car/year. It is the case for my C6.5. From my VERY limited knowledge, the battery characteristics (maker and number) are coded to the car computers - I am guessing with VAGCOM?? That way, the car's computers know what to and how many consumers to selectively shut down when the battery gets low. Read an article today that explained the selective computer generated shut down for Audi electrical systems as the battery got weak and as the number of days went by since last use of the car.

NO IDEA if that helps. But strange that ALL modules of a certain type are simply not found. PERHAPS, the modules were shut down by the car as battery failed and the modules failed to turn back on because battery coding issue?
as the say, advice is worth what you pay for it!!!

Raj,

I had the battery drain issue and it was the satellite module that had gone bad. It happened when the car was around 8 years old. I don't know if that is your problem but I figurd I would share my experience. Good luck finding the fix.

hi folks...wanted to let you know that I solved the issue...for FREE!

Well I had pulled fuses and visually checked them, but OBVIOUSLY I missed one. Today, in the light of day, I went back and pulled the 5amp Communication fuse (passenger side) and it had actually shattered from the middle, like a bullet had gone through it. I swapped out the fuse and BAM! I have my MMI back working and life is AWESOME!

I want to thank everyone who gave suggestions and provided encouragement. Hopefully this is a learning opportunity to others, and can search this in the future.

If you jump start your C6 and you get no center dash display check the fuse first, before you start thinking of dropping money on other parts. Thanks all

Glad you got it fixed. The actual lesson is don't jumpstart these cars. This time was just a fuse next time could be something serious.
