I'm trying to determine if front seats out of a 05 A6 (sedan) could be fit into an '02 allroad. I understand the seat mount rails are flat and bolt to the floor (not to the side of the center hump/sidewall) .
The allroad rear mounts go into a vertical track, trying to see if the a6 track would fit inside those.
Could someone measure the outside width for the tracks? length would be useful too but I don't think that would be the problem area.

I'll I really need someone to do is move their driver's seat forward, and from the back seat floorboard measure from; outside rail, to outside rail with a tape measure. It doesn't have to be highly accurate.
