Sony Ericsson 910a and Bluetooth
has anybody had a problem getting full functionality with this phone? It will let me make and recieve calls, but I cannot import any of the numbers/addresses and there is nothing showing on the power bar in the MMI screen...
Any sites to where I can get an update for the firmware? I've tried SE's main site...

Re: Sony Ericsson 910a and Bluetooth
Their 900 model was a disaster with the installed Bluetooth systems. Sold mine. The 910 supposedly added the ability to select additional profiles (ie. hands free vs. headset) but I was not willing to incur the expense to test it. The unlocked SE700 (US model is 710)model is awesome with Audi Bluetooth- supports all of the MMI functions including reading the standard phonebook right from the phone. Phone Bluetooth is cookin' on my 2006 A6 Avant and it's great.

Re: Sony Ericsson 910a and Bluetooth
Thanks for the reply. I have the "list" for bluetooth phones compatible with the A6, does somebody have a more updated list or can tell me what newer phones are compatible? is it safe to say that most if not all phones made in the last couple of months and the future will be compatible with the A6? Was the problem just having outdated technology and software?

I'm haveing the same problem with Motorola V551.
I am not able to import my address book. I attempted to export my numbers from the phone, but the phone can't find the bluetooth device for exchange purpose only. Next step is export from my iPAQ.

I know on the Treo 650 it will oly show Contacts that have been backed up to the SIM card. not sure if that helps your situation. Also 1234 is the Bluetooth code. Good Luck

The manual doesn't say anything about bluetooth...
sync or file transfer. Manual only says that the car will import the address book when a phone is docked with the phone cradle. I will try the SIM card option.
Thanks for the help.

The P910i does not fully support the hands free profile that the Nokias and most other non symbian phones support.
We may have to wait for the P990 in the spring.
