Hello everyone. I could not find any similar threat, so I started this one.
My 2008 a6 works with key fob properly.
I incidentaly tried spare key and it does not unlock all doors. Neither trunk.
FIrst key fob works, all doors lock and unlock just fine, another spare key works manualy, but remote function partialy. It locks all the doors, but wont unlock all, only driver's. So just one door is unlocked remotely. Manual locking and alarm works just fine with that spare key.
What can be the problem with spare remote?

If I understand your post correctly, ine of the remote works fine- lock/unlocks all the doors at once, and the trunk.
Another remote locks all the doors but unlocks only the driver door.

Try to press "unlock" button on the 2nd remote twicw quickly and see what happens- it probably will unlock all doors from the 2nd press.
Then start the car using this 2nd remote, and check MMI setting for locking/unlocking.
There should be a setting "two-press unlock" - disable it.
