check ebay. I think someone is selling one for $299. You can sell your sirius unit for the same.

If you have not yet activated the radio, I would go talk to you sales person. Mine simple swapped my Sirius unit for and XM right off the showroom floor. It takes less than 5 minutes to do.

Default Has it been activated?

I have an unactivated XM module that I might be interested in trading...

Default It shouldn't matter...

as long as he deactivates it before he sends it to you. I sold my previously activated XM receiver on eBay and the buyer told me that he installed and activated the unit with no problems.

Obviously, it will be kind of silly not to be able to re-activate a receiver. Otherwise, if you sold your car, the new buyer would have to throw away the sat. receiver and buy a new one.

Exactly. I figured that if mine is unactivated, I'd like to get one that is unactivated in return.
