anybody ever heard this noise? or have any idea what it is?
it's doing this constantly and not increasing or decreasing due to throttle. obviously it's not a good noise...

Sounds like it could be one of your distribution vent motors for the HVAC system. Your car has quite a few motors in the dash that adjust the climate vents. Does it change when you change temperature settings/fan speed? Does it still happen when the climate control is completely turned off? A little more info and we can pin it down!

Have you had your cabin air filter changed or serviced recently? If it is not sealed properly it can cause a whistling sound as well. Have you looked in the vents with a flashlight? An object may be lodged in the vent (especially if you have children
? If it turns out to be the fan blower motor we can get you one for $126.00 4F0-820-020-A. You have piqued my curiosity, keep me posted!

it's blowing hot and cold air fine, so i don't think the blower is "broken" per say...i'm just so confused!
