looking to buy an A6, can't make up my mind whether to go with an air or sport suspension. i like to drive fast and corner hard, but when I am with my kid I need it to be soft and comfortable, I also drive a lot in the snow. Any siggestions?

All your requirements point to the air suspension.
* The sport suspension has no adjustability, so if you want to tailor the ride/handling tradeoff, you definitely need the air suspension.
* The air suspension has a lift mode that raises the car. This obviously would be of benefit in high snow.
* Even from a handling perspective on dry pavement, I'm guessing that the air suspension could be superior to the sport suspension due to lower unsprung weight versus a steel coil setup. It would be interesting to see if anyone ever has tested this.
However, the S line gets you a nice front end treatment that makes the car look slightly more aggressive (pretty subtle though). Then again, adding new aesthetic pieces is easy. Swapping a coil setup with an air suspension after the fact would be extremely difficult.

The all seasons are not very grippy...I hate my Conti's.
Go with the summer performance tires on the s-line for summer, then change to snow tires for the winter...you get the right tire for the right time of year this way.

I have an Avant and I took the sport suspension. It drives well, but is little too hard when driving easy. Now I would surely have the air suspension. Don't hesitate.
