Sunroof drain cleaning, hard to do?

Simple to clear them --- just tried a new approach
Use a standard Ethernet cable----- just cut the RJ-45 connector / clip off the end, and snake it down the drains on both side of the sunroof
I have found this better than other suggested materials --- it's almost an exact fit - meaning the diameter of the cable is smaller than the drain hole / hose, so it gets all of the debris out. hh

That tubing is so frail they use that I'd be reluctant to attempt to clean it based upon what I've seen happen in other VAG cars.
I dunno, I inspect that area on our cars and there really isn't anything to "clean". The problem areas I see on all our cars is that cowl area just ahead of the windshield. That's always a mess and that does clog the drain holes.
