situation: driving around with rear of sunroof in tilted up position; i pull the sunroof control **** once for one-touch closing; rear lowers into closed position and then, on its own, re-opens in previous tilt up position. try to close it again, but this behavior repeats several times before it finally stays closed. anyone experienced this?

Have you tried keeping the **** pulled until it closes all the way for a few seconds? It seems like it's sensing some tension and reversing the motor on its own.

I started having the same issue. It seems to do it only once in awhile. Haven't taken it in for this but if you just hold the button down it will close. Please let me know if you find out whats wrong. I would like to have the controls function properly.

I had a similar issue on my 2003 A4. it turned out to be the switch to open and close the sunroof. They replaced it and I had no issues with it. I have not had it happen to my A6.

i never knew it was a one touch switch, I have always just held it down till the sunroof closed...........

If there is a problem with the switch would this be covered under the CPO?

Mine was covered under CPO. I don't know if it is the same issue, but my dealer fixed it with no BS excuses.

Had my car in for an oil change and a few other things including the sunroof window tilt thing. They found the problem as well and clean out the tracks and lubed it up and so far so good. No charge under CPO
