T-mobile G1 anybody? How does the bluetooth work with the car??

Short answer: Works; long answer continue to read...
Long answer: The G1 has soo many flaws, it is not even funny. Even with the most updated firmware and software updates.
1. The BT connectivity is OK with our cars but the quality is not as good 'from the other side' as some other phones that are paired with our car.
2. Pairing is fast and easy (set up wise)
3. Biggest issue: Synching phone book is not possible. Our car has to 'read' from the SIM card and the G1 does not come with a way to store telephone numbers on the SIM card. In other words, you add a new number via the G1, you cannot use it dialing from the MMI (but of course, you can pick up the phone and dial it through the G1)
4. Every other day a disconnect of pairing. This is an above mentioned flaw with the G1. It sometimes stops running aps and one of them may be the BT app.
