Actually, there is a 3.6L version....
of Audi's 90-degree wide longitudinally mounted 3.6L FSI V6 in the works. It is supposed to produce 280-300 hp, which means that the 4.2L V8 with FSI will have to be bumped up to 370 or 380 hp. Or, better yet, the FSI V8 could be bumped up to 4.5L producing 400 hp and 347 or 354 lbs/ft of torque. Of course, there is no word that the FSI V8 will be bumped up to 4.5L producing 400 hp and 347 or 354 lbs/ft of torque. But it is nice to think about. And not all that unrealistic.
