Is there any way to get the sport seats in the 4.2 WITHOUT the Sport package?

It looks like you can get sport seats alone as an option in the 3.2 but can only get sport seats with the sports suspension in the 4.2.

You can now that the S-Line has been introduced on the A6 4.2.
The sport seats are now available as a separate option.
You can also get sport suspension now separately.
In summary you have:
- S-Line package (cannot be ordered with sport suspension)
-Sport suspension (cannot be ordered with S-Line package)
-Sport seats.
You can also get sport suspension now separately.
In summary you have:
- S-Line package (cannot be ordered with sport suspension)
-Sport suspension (cannot be ordered with S-Line package)
-Sport seats.

Wait a minute, the S-Line package is now available?
If you can't order along with sport package, do I assume correctly this is because the S-Line already includes the suspension and wheel components from the sport package?

Yes. Go through Audi Exclusive.
Keep in mind though that compared to the rest of the world, Audi Exclusive is harder to take advantage of in North America. Audi Exclusive can also be more expensive in North America than in the rest of the world. However, there is a very good possibility that for MY2006 the sports seats on the "base" A6 4.2, (base meaning non S Line) in addition to being included with the sport package, will become available as a "regular" (regular meaning not having to go through Audi Exclusive) stand alone option, since the adaptive electronic air suspensnion will become a newly available option for MY2006. 1,000,000-1, a majority of base A6 4.2 buyers who opt for the adaptive electronic air suspension will want the superb sport seats instead of the merely adequate regular seats.

Pricing Info?
Any word on pricing for the sport seats and sport suspension individual options on the 4.2?
Also, there's a post over on Edmunds talking about a $1000 price increase effective 15 February--any truth to this?

Check Regional Dealer Inventory....
I know some of my local dealers have the Sport Package only option since they ordered before Audi switched over.
