Looking to throw some tint on my A6. What % should i go with? The car color is Brilliant Black. Any suggestion?

It depends on how sunny it is where you live and how well you see at night.

Bentley and A8L look ravishing in 50% Huper Optik Ceramic from the factory..so does my A6 but I had it installed a few years ago..perfect!

Tint shop talked me into 35%, I was one the fence with 35 or 50 and would recommend 50%. 35 seems too dark to me.

What brand/kind of tint did you go with?
Metallic? Ceramic?

Also, could you post pics please?
There are several of us here shopping for tint and the more pics we see of the different shades the better.

I'll try to post some this weekend... I do not have any pictures with tint.

It's fine during the day, just seems too dark at night IMO.

I guess everyone has their own opinion on tint. But 35 is what alot of cars come with from the factory these days. I used to have 5% on one of my cars...I could not see out the back at all. No one could see in either. Great for ... acts in privacy at populated places. I think 15 is the way to go to retain visibility but have a bit of privacy. 35 fronts 15 in the rear. Then again I live in Texas and its hotter then satans ***** here. Plus when we are not busy and can't leave its hard to take a nap in a bright car lol.
