I was also considering the Pirelli P-zeros, but have heard that they wear out super-fast (like 5k miles fast).

My car is a bit louder on the freeway now that I think about it versus what it was on Contis... but I am also running 30 profile. Its nothing too drastic though.

I replaced the OEM Contis on my S6 with those Toyos about 6 months ago and, 5k miles in, I'm very happy. Very quiet, responsive and great in the rain. At the time I was shopping, Gary of TR told me that 275/35/19 would also work fine. That opens up a few other options, including all-season tires. I went with OEM size.

I saw your pics on the other thread....love the look of those G-force treads (what little you can see). I'm also curious about switching to 20's....I don't have to lower the car too do I? I really like the look of the OEM S8 20"wheels and was thinking of trying to get some of those while I was at it.

No, you should be ok with the S6 not lowered on 20" without looking lifted. The tread pattern is pretty aggressive on these tires.
When looking into the S8 wheels a few things to consider: First, they will have way too much rubber on those rims (wall height). Second, the A8/S8 TPS sensors will not work on A6/S6. Getting a set of S8 wheels of a car could be more trouble than necessary. Buying the rims new from Audi is too expensive and there are better alternatives. Food for thought.

TR shows no all season tires in 265 size so I think I'll change to 275s. Thanks for the advice.
In Dallas we do not have winter weather often enough to warrant winter tires. This year was a fluke - we had snow and ice several times. With OEM summer tires I slid around like a puck on an air hockey board.
I didn't slide so much in previous Audi's with all season tires. All season tires are available in the 275 width. I'm switching before winter comes around again - just in case we have snow or ice this year.
