TPMS issue

The last time I had filled air in my tires, I had done the 'Car - TPMS - Store current tire pressure'. However, today I checked the tire pressure and the pressure was way low - like 30 psi instead of 35psi in the front and the rear was like 32psi instead of 39psi.
However, no TPMS light came on to indicate that my tire pressure was low. Do I have a malfunctioning TPMS system in my car???
Any ideas?

TPMS out of factory will only alert you if you're down in the 20s... you can get it calibrated to alert you when you go down a few psi, this has to be done by VAGCOM... someone should chime in how to do it
if not do a search for TPMS and VAGCOM

ah ok... anyway I took the car to the dealer today for a few other issues - asked them to run a quick check on this issue.
