Yes, I’ve troed google, but I can’t get a definitive answer.
trying to order parts to rebuild my tranny, but not sure the exact type.
i know it’s made by ZF and 6hp comes up, so does other codes for different years. How can I find out exactly, besides crawling under and looking at a data tag lol
im thinking 6HP19.??

The PR code label will have the transmission type listed on it. You'll find that label near the spare tire or stuck to the front pages of one of the car's manuals.

so it’s an HNN KTT... I thought it’d be a 6HP something...
...so is it not a ZF thren?

It’s the last three letters which counts Sallad, so you have a KTT transmission. This is the audi code and sites like Online VAG spare parts catalog, Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat. VAG VIN decoder, part number search. *** Online. should be able to decode it and give you more info.
Yes, you have a ZF 6HP19 transmission I expect. Audi just uses three letter codes as a shorthand for recording exactly which component specs are fitted to your car.

Sorry Sallad, not sure why the site doesn’t like your VIN, except maybe it only works for US sold vehicles. I can’t enlighten you further on how to research your transmission type.
