Trunk light not working – Need help

Trunk light not working – Need help
While swapping the bulb I lost power. I’ve used a volt meter to check the wire and no power. Also checked every fuse in the car (driver and passenger side fuse box along with trunk fuses) and everything is working. Has anyone had this problem before? or other suggestions?
