Your latch sensor is failing...replace the rear trunk latch, it's very easy and it'll fix your issue.

I'd recommend at least removing the latch and then checking that the sensor is inserted properly and that there's no disconnects in the system. If that fails to resolve the issue, try a new latch.

Spray some WD-40 lubricating oil in there. Once a year I apply Audi specific lube in hinges and latches but if you don't have Audi lubes, use WD-40.
Once applied, work the mechanism a few times and see if your warning vanishes.

WD40 was a short term fix on my C6. I eventually replaced the latch.
