fixed
I finally made a dealer appointment after exhausting all internet expertise on this issue without a resolution.
Turns out the dealer could not fix this with a software update and had to replace PN 4E0-035-664-AX CNTRL UNIT. I'm still under factory warranty so N/C..
From the R/O
"Confirm problem, perform gff, no faults stored. Found that MMI was at ZUG 110, updated MMI software to ZUG 114. No change. Tried to code and adapt SF unit. Audi server sends back an error which says there is a hardware malfunction. Ordered a SF module, removed and replaced SF module, coded and performed component protection. R/t to function test"
Should I be brave and start modding? I did do the A2DP mod so I could play my books via bluetooth to no ill affects.
