Hi,

i wonder if there is any updates for my 2006 A6 with MMI Basic plus (navigation)?

Is this an update for just the navigationsystem itself, or does it do something else with the MMI?
Can i download this for free somewhere?

The Audi navigation system, which is developed by NAVTEQ North America LLC, is independent of the Audi MMI software. The navigation disk is a DVD ROM disk, which contains a huge amount of data that would be nearly impossible to download (if you were allow to do it at all). The DVD disk is also copyrighted, and protected from duplication by internation law. The webpage you linked appears to be for Europe applications only, but it also says you have to purhase the disk. I have no idea why it states "MMI Basic plus". In the US, the navigation DVD sells for ~$190 for the latest version.
