Hello,
I accidentally let the reservoir ryn dry when bleeding. I am now trying to run the ABS pump as I understand that is required when the the system runs dry.
I am following the Ross Tech instructions. All four wheels off the ground. 03-ABS Brakes, Basic settings - 04, Group 002, Go! I get an "Error: Group 002 Not Available.
I have a 2006 A6 3.2 Quattro.
What am I doing wrong??
Thanks!!
Jay

Hey guys,
Thanks for the reply, ignition on, same result, I even tried it with the engine running.
I heard that if the ABS pump is blown, you will get that error, is that correct?
Also, I called the Vag Com guy and he said for my car there is no command to bleed abs pump?? it's a 2006 A6. That did not sound right to me... That's after they told me this is what I need to bleed a dry brake system right before i bought it.
Thanks,
Jay

Also, just to be sure, are you using the correct Hex-Can cable for your car? If so make sure the cable is properly connected to your car and computer (green light should be lit up). I'm sure you know this but again to be on the safe side.
