Thanks guys, i found someone already, and reset the SRI. Thanks again!! Also.... according to some indy shop, its illegal for an Audi dealer to charge you to reset the SRI, i called Audi of america, and they were like.... WHAT??! so yes, the dealer should reset it for free, i am in a case with them on this, i think its BS that the dealer wants to charge you 65 bucks for 5 min worth of work, the guy at the dealer was like..... if i would have a line of cars, waiting for me to reset SRI's, what would i do?? well......you should've thought about that when you made that module proprietary to reset!! also, maybe you can get an update for the MMI, to were a person can just hit RESET on the bottom!!! anyways, that's whats going on.

Audi dealers are required to purchase the VAS 5052 scan tool, and all of the special tools required to work on all models of the Audi lineup. Plus they have to pay for their service techs. So why is it illegal to charge for covering their costs that are not re–imbursed by A of A?? To give you any idea of the cost of some of the OEM scan tools dealers pay for: BMW dealers pay $60K plus (including the updates), Chrysler scan tool $6K, etc. With these upfront costs for the service departments, a dealer will easily have over $100K investment that he/she must recover some way. Should a dealer charge for resetting the SRIs? Probably not a good idea for customer relations. But definately not illegal, IMHO.
