I'm looking to add video to my Nav screen and an additional audio input for my MP3 Player. Has anyone had any experince with the Pac Audio VCI-AUDI/68?
Looks good on "paper", but I wondered if anyone knew more about it.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7950_PAC+VCI-AUDI-68.html#</a

It has a VGA in and is a few $$ cheaper. I know I'd love to do carputer in the future. Thanks!!
So...Is this just something you're looking at too, or have you had experience with it??

I asked them a few questions and they seemed to quite knowledgable. The VGA thing is pretty cool. They did say that it can be set up to automatically switch to reverse cam when the car was put into reverse. I've seen one of their products in a Nissan Armada and it was impressive to say the least. Picture quality was top notch.

I just noticed that both the solution you found as well as the one I initially posted do not actually handle audio input to the sound system. They are merely passthrus to switch your audio between sources. So to do what I wanted will still require a Dennison Gateway 500...at least as best as I can tell.
