Where do you see the altitude option?

I'm not seeing it. It doesn't show in the map display.

Is this a newer or older version?

Its a UK 2006

It was upgraded about 2 months ago due to a bug on the MMI - the DSP auto volume thing wasn't staying on, i.e. the volume wasn't increasing with road speed.
