Default What kind of headlights do I have?

I keep reading about Halogens but I'm not sure if that's what I have?

Can you tell me what I have from this picture? I do not have projectors.

You have halogens. All projector type lights are HID for C6.

Default if you turn on your headlights and you see a yellowish output then you have halogen

if you see a clear white/ bluish tint then you have xenons.

best way to check is in front of a garage.

pretty simple

Thanks guys. Just reading through some DIYs and wasn't sure if I had halogens or what they called the "normal" lights.

It's not, I updated it to a newer style (2009+ I think).

Took some heating up and some pushing back (of the bumper cover) but it fits perfectly now. Not that hard of a mod if you're not scared to take your front bumper off.

I really like it. I have 2009 but used to have 2006. I like the new updated grill but I really liked the clean look of the 2006 bumper. I think you got the right look.

Thanks. I just picked up some 19" RS6 reps (the 5 spokes) from a guy here locally for $300. I couldn't say no to the price.

I also just picked these OEM LED strip headlights up today over on vortex: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...ing)-NEW-Cheap!!

I thought $180 couldn't be beat and I'll have to work out the details of installing them and getting them to work when they arrive.

I'm now saving up for an OEM trunk spoiler, front bumper lip, and I'll probably pick up some Koni FSD's and Eibach springs eventually.
