OK. You have 3G MMI High, that is the version with the navigation data on a hard disk and easily identified by the small joystick type device on the top of the main MMI controller. From the screenshot I take it you are Europe somewhere as the MMI software is prefixed EU. You have version 22 of the MMI software, don't know if that is the latest version for the EU (different territories have different sw so seeing a higher number from a non-EU car does not mean yours is out of date.

With the 3G system, and especially the HDD version, any updates to the software or the map data requires a visit to the dealer as there is a need to link to Audi to complete the update process. Even the map data for the DVD version (3G MMI Low) can no longer be updated without dealer intervention.

You don't need any form of membership card they should do it for you although they may charge. MMI software updates are often part of the things they do as part of the service, although it seems to be a bit hit or miss whether they will update it if no faults are reported by the owner and it is not required as part of undertaking work covered bt a TSB. the navigation data update will be charged for (c£150 in the UK I believe)

You can use it move the cursor around on the map and select a destination point rather than entering the address or where the address is not held within the navigation database and I think you can also use it to "scroll" through the programmed route. There may be other uses but I did not have the HDD navigation on my C6 so can't confirm
