Hi Folks,
I'd like to order the rear rotors for my 3.2 Quattro, but there are two sizes available. Which one is the correct dimension for my A6?
Rotor, a6, s6, 302x12mm
or
Rotor, a6, s6, 330x22mm
I'm guessing it is the smaller dimension since I have the smaller engine offered for the 2005 model.
Thanks!

Just a heads up; changing the rotors is a simple task but there is one gotcha. The carrier bolts are 18mm, the top one is easy to access and remove however the bottom bolt has been designed by the most satanic mechanical engineer one can find. It is a really tight spot, 1/2" sockets and ratchet will be to big to use so make sure you have 3/8" drive and also a good swivel head helps. Once you break the tension you can use fingers to revove the bolt.

I have a set of rear 302 rotors - brand new. And Pads also brand new for a 2005 A6. I came across them this weekend. Sold my old A6 before i could use them. They are OEM. PM me a ridiculously low offer and I will let you have them, because they are just taking up space in my garage.

The larger 4.2 or S6 rotors are vented so there is likely a caliper change involved as well as the rotor itself, caliper carrier, possibly splash shields and pads. On more popular models like the A4 some of the parts distributors usually put together a package to swap in S4 brakes, but generally no such luck for an A6 due to limited market.
The 302 is probably more than adequate for the rear of the 3.2 unless you frequent HPDEs. It is the front that could use some beefing up. AFAIK only Stoptech makes a front kit for the C6 A6.
