What type of gas on 05 3.2 A6?

Every gas audi I have owned has required 91 Octane (which really doesn't mean much in the long run). If you are looking at an Audi to purchase, open the fuel-cap door and it will specify on the inside cover.

I'm in the UK, we use Ron as a measurement over here, we have 95ron, 97, 98, 99, 100 and then we also have 102 ron.
I think our 95 ron is like your 87/88 octane unleaded, then we have 97 ron which is like your 91 octane plus and the 99/100 is like your premium 95 octane, does that sound about right??
All I know is my 255bhp 3.2 drops to around 240bhp on regular gas due to the knock sensors, it states this in the manual.
Also, I only get around 300 miles from a tank using regular and using premium I get around 340 miles from a tankful, so the 10% increase in price is worth it.
