Is this the wheel bearing-caused slow speed clicking?

I actually had the same symptoms with a different issue, just in case anyone else is looking this up. The mechanic I had went to replaced the wheel bearing, and after driving it the noise was still there. So I went to recreate the noise to show my buddy and lucky enough he had triple A, because my half shaft decided to pop out. That's when it went back to the garage and he found the real problem. The bump-stop on the lower control arm, which keeps the wheel from turning too far, got crushed. So my wheel was turning too far allowing the half shaft to unseat just enough to make a clicking noise. My tire was also rubbing the fender well slightly. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue, but I figured I'd share it.

Reviving this thread because I'm experiencing the same_exact_issue on my C6 Avant. I'm guessing its only at low speeds since I only hear the clicking noise parking in the garage or lot when my windows are down.
Anyone else have this issue on their C6 and know of what exactly is making the noise and a solution? Doesn't seem like a bad wheel bearing to me.

Check the boots on the CV joints. If the grease is thrown out, you'll hear the ball bearings clicking in the joint, especially when turning. If a wheel bearing is going out, you should hear a rumble that increases with speed. Also, you should notice more noise as you turn and shift weight to the outside wheel of the turn.
