For me since my 35K service, as soon as i pass about 4k the low oil warning comes on. I look at the dip dtick and sure enough i am down a quart. Can anyone help me out with some info.
Thanks

They blow you off and expect you to walk away shaking your head but assuming 'hey if they said it's ok, it must be fine'.
Don't go against your better judgment and talk with Audi of America if service continues to not find your problem.
Just remember it's like health care. In the US we can only have 2 of the 3 things we want. Cheap, Fast, and of High quality.
To get a high quality warrantied fix, the dealer may need the car for some time. (hopefully not though)

If they didn't seat just right the car would burn oil in the manner you describe. Happened with my 96 A4 but my 98.5 A4 was just fine.

if needed.
Not to say everyone experiences this but this is what AoA/BMWUSA/MBUSA will give you as their answer if you encounter something with adding oil per x amount of miles.
You can certainly try pressing the dealer to do a oil consumption test and see if they find anything.

5 quarts of oil in aggregate over the last 7 years. Sorry to hear you are having your issues and I know some others have as well. I guess I've been lucky.

oil all the time. Almost every Audi owners I knew at the time had the same problem. Even the Audi dealership people acknowleged this "fact" (they didn't say "problem") and claimed was normal. But I hardly hear any other makes of cars that have to add oil that often, other than a Jaguar which had so many oil leaks that could never be caught up fixing, and rotory engine Mazda which must burn oil as part of the rotary engine design.
I even asked the dealership people when I bought the new 3.2 A6 that if the new car also needed frequent oil top up, and the answer was no due to new engine designs. So I always thought Audi had already fixed the problem until this thread comes up.
