Default Will 19 x 9 ET52 wheels fit my '05 A6 (ET43)

My current wheels are 18 x 8 ET43 and I want to replace them with 19 x 9 ET 52. Will they fit?

Are you talking about the S6 wheels? They should work. You can also use 10mm spacers to bring them to ET42.

You're right that spacers will bring them to 42mm offset, but don't forget that the wheel is an inch wider, so there's still about 13mm more rim on the inside even with the spacers. I'd check the upper suspension arms, that's where they will rub first.

9" inch width with ET42 is fine. That's what I am running and there is plenty of space. 9" is not that wide for a width of a rim on our cars.
