Has anyone ever tried this?

(Also, ebay.uk seller with the same item. He says it can be done "easily" but not sure how trustworthy that opinion is:

just drilling the holes for those sensors scare me. you're better off with a backup camera

possible. I believe it would have to integrate with the MMI? To adjust volume, tone, etc. like factory standard.

Also, would it wire directly into a US unit? And how much labor would be involved.

Anyone do this yet?

Yes, it's possible if this set uses genuine Audi parts. In fact, Audi lists a parking sensor retrofit kit as genuine accessory, I'm talking abt the European market, not sure whether they offer this as accessory in the US.
