1st car in my name

I have a 2006 CPO A6 Avant. My new car warranty runs out today so I brought it in to have a few things looked at. One is a rattle in the back that two other dealers couldn't find, but never told me they weren't covered (and I wasn't charged). The other incredibly annoying one is a squeak in the top of the window channels whenever they're wet. If I bring the window down it goes away, if I bring it back up it comes back. We were told to drop it off since it would be better to have the car all day for squeaks/rattles. My wife got a voicemail today that it would have been better for us to drive the car with them and that squeaks/rattles aren't covered by the warranty. Anyone have either this squeaking problem or can verify that they're not covered by the warranty?

lmao i have the same problem with my 06 sedan. brought it back 6 times and they kept saying it was fixed. as soon as it rained, it came back. the squeak is now a permanent friend of mine
