Maybe you know someone who has a 2007 Q7 / A6 / A8 with nav. Chances are, your dealer has one for sale on the lot. Simply take the 2007 nav DVD, pop it into your nav system, and wait a few minutes.
Any idiot should be able to do this. I have, for one.

Works with the S4, and the behavior seemed similar when I popped in a 2007 Q7 nav DVD into my A6. Oh well, I guess I was wrong.

btw, did you get the 2k7 update with the 150 firmware for the S4? If not, it's definitely worth it.
I had the same hope of a quick and easy MMI upgrade when I brought the 2007 Q7 loaner home a few weeks ago, so I made a copy of the DVD to try in my car (I had just bought the 'new' Navteq DVD and they sent me the 2006...in September...so I entitled myself to the new version). After I popped it in, it did upgrade the Navi software, but my MMI version never changed.

Here's a response from the service manager of another Chicago area dealer to my post in the Chicago forum.

https://forums.audiworld.com/lrqc/msgs/92841.phtml</a
