Hi All,
I'll be diy-ing my rear brakes for my 06 A6 and need a VAG Com to release the electronic e-brake. Would anyone here be willing to rent me their VAG Com for a week or two? I'd gladly pay for the service and the shipping to and from.
I'm in NYC. Would be more than happy to get on the phone to discuss if needed. Please PM me. Thanks!

Thanks. I did find these two websites:
http://www.dcetuning.com/products/ro...an-interface-1
https://sites.google.com/site/vagcomrental/
I did contact the guy running the 2nd link. Just curious if anyone here has heard of/used either of these.
Thanks.

Sorry, All three of our cars are Audis. Going a week without a VAG Com would be kind of risky ! :-)

You don't need a vag-com for rear brakes.
Couple bolts to take off actuator, torx socket to unscrew the e-brake screws and change the pads. There's nothing to it at all.

Got a working VAG from user cal3thousand.
Brakes done this past weekend. Just wanted to give a shout out to him for getting me the VAG and if he were selling anything else I would do business again.
Thanks.
