Are the Xenon lights worth $2500?

I'm strucling with my self whether I should take the Xenon headlights for my new A6 Avant 3.0 TDI.
I took a testdrive with an A6 with Xenon lights and I must say that the Halogens on my Volvo V70 seems to be better, so I'm worried how lousy the halogens on A6 will be if I'm not even very happy with the Xenons. The shop didn't have any cars available with normal halogens to test.
It's just that they want about $2500 for the Xenons in Finland. Is there a separate High beam on the halogen version??
So far I've decided these will be the other options:
Brilliant Black
Comfort package (cruise, arm rest, mmi plus)
climatronic +
Black sportseats with Alcantara/Leather, heating and memory.
Parktronic, rear.
Automatically opening/closing trunk lid.

You should really consider adding them. The Xenons give such a good light compared to regular halogens. If you don't find the default xenons powerful enough, you can always add additional xenons later on. I did that on my previous '03 (see pic below) and integrated them nicely just next to the fog lights. They are really small but very powerful. Cost me about €500. Bought and had them installed in Finland actually ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I'm happy with the light the Xenons on my '05 3.0 TDI give so I'm not sure if I'm gonna add additional Xenons like I did on my previous Audi.

adaptive lights that will pivot when you turn the steering wheel. You may want to get them if you go in dark areas in Finland.
They are MUCH better than Halogens.

It's the damned taxation that makes all things related to cars so expensive. Every option costs about twice the german price :-(
Ie. rear parktronic is 700 euros in finland !!! and 300 in germany.
Well I decided to take the Xenons any way. They ended up costing 1670 euros. Not adaptive though.
