Hi Guys!

Looking for some help. Still getting use to my new baby that I picked up in June. One thing that I can't seem to find is how to turn on the AUTOMATIC high beams so they go on and off as other cars approach or you enter a well lit area. The closest I can find in the owner's manual is the "Headlight Range control". However it has an asterisk by it indicating it is not on all A7s. If I have it, where would it be? If I don't have it, shouldn't the Prestige have it? I was out last night where it was pretty dark with no street lights but I did not see any change in my headlight beams as cars approached.

U.S. A7s don't have the automatic high beam feature. It is demonstrated on the Audi website and in literature; but not implemented on U.S. A7s.

if you have the auto selected in the lights switch then when you select high beam the indicator comes up on the dash as a small white headlight similar to the blue high beam dips when cars approach dips when catching other cars at night ( re works off the red rear lights it sees and also increases the amount of high beam you have the darker the night is

This feature works very good and if you don't get it in the US then your missing out big time cheers WASA

Its funny how MB puts it on there cars here in the U.S. but Audi didnt. my 2011 e550 had it surely miss it on my my 14 s7 but hey my Audi drives and rides better also. but it was 25 k more. As we forget the Germany's build a car to DRIVE and not so great on all the features.

Don't feel too bad for us in the US. We get to buy things like a loaded A7 for 40% less than in the European Union. In addition gasoline/diesel is half the price so we are not suffering too badly.
