for 5k check up, i was loaned a year old a8 with everything on it. dual back tvs, foot rests, etc...but i drove it. didnt watch a backseat movie. overall, its total overkill for me. glad to have a7 back.

Dropped my A7 off this morning for the 5K service and didn't get the "recall".
I got a new A8 with less than 5K miles as a loaner.

Nice you got an A8 loaner! I had the choice of a Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra, or had the option to pay $20 extra for a Camaro at my last service - lol

Yep, 19,000 miles later and I'm done my rigorous program that allowed 0 time for forums and now I've got all the time in the world until I take my boards.
How's your A7 treating you?
Mine got a small dent in it when I valet parked it the weekend of my wedding, also got a small dent in the back of my bumper when a parking garage attendant hit it (and they won't pay for it to be fixed). Also smoked out my tail lights and the reflectors and did 50% tints on my windows...
