Default Advice Needed On Grill Fitting Info Please!!

So i am about to do some more new mods on my 2014 Prestige loaded A7 including

AWE Black Diamond Tip Exhaust
Lower on Eibach Springs

&

I just seen a CRAZY nice S7 grill that come in the black optics package for the S7 i want to get & swap out for the normal one on my A7 (taking off the S7 badge & replacing it of course lol)

Image of it is below. Now my question is that somehow my dealer does not know for 100% fact that tit will fit the A7 or not. My question is how could it not rite? It should rite? I have the sport S line package & all on my A7 so it is the exact same front end as the S7 correct?

Yes it will fit, no prob. It's commonplace for people with A's across the board to switch to S grille's.

Pull the trigger.

Thanks a lot! And do you agree i should take the S7 badge off? Is that even possible to remove it? I was going to take it off & put a black & red S Line badge on it.

I just know i HATED when people would put a M badge or AMG badge on their non M or AMGs when i had mine lol. The red just looks sick af in the front & goes with my red calipers. But if it can be removed i was going to put this one on it

Without a doubt you have to take the S7 badge off.

To attach the S-line badge you can remove the original S7 badge clip( just pops off), use a little goo gone and fishing string to remove the S7 emblems from the plastic clip. Then dremel down the plastic clip to the size of the S-line badge(as they are different sizes). You can use adhesive or double sided stick tape to attach the S-line badge to the original S7 clip. Then just re-install clip on the grille.

Will look just like Factory.

There are other S line badges on eBay with smooth backs. Search using "Audi grill badge".

Yes, buy the S-line badge that does not have the plastic clip attached to it.

Cheaper that way too.

So now the dealer says they THINK it should fit (i know it will) but there is a problem.

2 different part numbers show for the grill with the same description. 1 is like 780 the other 740 or something.

We do not know which to order or what the difference in look is. Any ideas anyone? I want to make sure i get the rite one for sure.

My wild *** guess would be that one has the mount for the camera in the drivers side circle of the logo.
