how’s it going all!

trying to save some $$ here by not taking the a7 into the dealer... my backup camera suddenly stopped working the other day. Nothing in my normal routine changed. So when I put the car into reverse I get a long tone and the parking aid button blinks.

Did a diagnostic on the car and it says warning buzzer for parking aid CH15C interruption/short circuit to ground DTC STATUS ACTIVE/STATIC

So... I bought a OEM parking buzzer and found the rear parking buzzer after ripping apart the passenger side rear trim next to the c pillar. Replaced the buzzer and it’s still not working. Any ideas? I checked fuses, checked wiring, checked all 8 sensors and they are all working, I’m stumped. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!! Not 100% sure but it sounds like it’s not a chime/buzzer fault based on that code. I literally had the same issue this week but my code was very clear that the front chime had a short/intermittent circuit etc etc. Swapped the front speaker/chime and it’s good as new. I’d research that code, based on the verbiage for the front failure it doesn’t sound like that’s it :/

For the CH15C code, it sounds like it’s the rear, but no luck! Also tried the rear as well! This hasn’t happened to anyone else??
