Audi A7 tdi or BMW X5???
Hello fellas, I'm currently in the process of swapping cars and I can't decide what to chose!
The main options are : Audi A8 D4, Audi A7 and BMW X5 40d(2014).
The only thing that is a must for me is that I would want the engine to be diesel.
I am 31 years old, still single so I don't really need the space.
I also do a large trip a couple times per month, 600-700 km and back.
I currently own a Porsche panamera turbo S, but I got sick of it. Too many issues and very poor reliability.
My budget is 30.000€ maaaybe 35k if something justifies it.
Thanks a lot for taking the time for reading my wall of text and I know you will be objective! (Even if I'm actually posting this in the A7 forums!)

Odd selection as they are all pretty different. Not to mention, everything after the Panamera will handle pretty dull.
If not a single one screams at you, you want none. Find a car that you are passionate about.
Or get something cheaper and basic, then find a hobby or interest to spend the saved money on.

A friend of mine works on BMW for a living and stated there are only certain model years that he would recommend if you don't want high repair bills. I can ask him again what years and models.
As people are starting the TDI is solid.
