Default Audi Care for $7 / Month

I'm usually not an advocate of prepaid maintenance plans, but Audi Care is attractively priced if you lease.

They add Audi Care at full $820, however, they increase the residual by 1% which effectively comes out to around $7 month. Not bad.

Has anyone else added Audi Care on their lease?

The pricing seems like a "no-brainer" versus paying $820.

3 Year Maintenance was $750 here ( I didn't lease )

$7 mo is no brainer IF you are going to keep the car more than 2 years

1st Maintenance is free

You'll have about $1,200 in maintenance over 4 years I think

I picked up AudiCare on my lease. With the increase in residual my payment went up even less since I got an S7. I couldn't imagine not doing it. First time I've bought any type of service package.

I'd get it, they are just going to keep increasing the price of it, and it seems like a pretty good price for what you get.

Is there a good reason to add AudiCare if you are leasing? After all, the car will be under warranty for the entire lease period.

Warranty is different than maintenance. You are required to maintain your car (oil changes, tire rotation, filters, sparkplugs, etc.) regardless if you lease or own. These items are not covered under warranty.

And since it adds 1% to the value of the car at the end of the lease it usually comes down to a super small amount of money. I doubt you can get all the maintenance done on the car for less than $250 over the course of 3 years.
