I see how the black makes the silver S trim stand out, but i prefer the S7 in silver, shows the car's lines better, and would contrast with the black interior i would want better than black, don't like black/black cars.

I believe this ia a black RS7 in testing.. this is not a go to market S7... none of the alum etc

The article says it's a proto S7, but you're right, none of the aluminum details. still, gives you a good sense of what a black S7 would look like. I still think black hides too many of the cars design cues.

Storage lot for my local Audi dealer is near my house, so while I was waiting to order an S7 I cruised by every couple of days to check out a7 colors. Saw everything. Picked black cause in person (vs pix) though it looked stunning and wicked as hell. Dontnknow how aluminim S7 trim will impact it, but am guessing will be very hot. I'll report in when car is deliverd in 2...3...4 months? Meanwhile, vicariously enjoying all the chatter. Thanks all!
