Buying a used A7
Looking for some advice from the forum on if I should consider...and if so what to look for when buying an A7 with high miles.
I'm considering a 2104 A7 Prestige model with S-Line exterior and 20" wheels with 67,500 miles on it. On it's second owner (I would be the third) who bought it CPO and has a transferable warranty good until July 2019 or 93k miles. Also has a transferrable Audi Tire and Wheel protection good until 7/24/2022. I'm told it had it's 55k mile service performed but not at an Audi dealer.
What are some of the things to look out for, expenses/repairs that I can expect as this mileage? Asking price is $28,500, does that seem fair or too high for the mileage on the car?
Thanks.

2014 correct? As far as pricing, I bought my 2016 TDI after researching several of the online cars for sale websites like carguru, auto trader, etc. Its really the best way to see what the average price is for the mileage, condition, # of prior owners etc. I've not had the first problem with my 2016, so not sure about any problems that pop up on 2014 models. I sure love my A7 though.

I bought my 2012 at 4 years old and 100K miles. I had done a lot of research and confident that the 3.0T was a good solid platform. Check the service records to see what's been done on it. There's been several recalls around the fuel line/pump. I've had a few electrical things, but nothing really major on mine.

Items to look for that I was told:
motor mounts go bad $900+ repair
wheel bearings go bad
control arms go bad

Thanks. I did pull a carfax report. Looks like it's had 3 owners in past 4 years so I would be the 4th. All service intervals were documented up until the 45k service (all under the 1st owner). The 2nd and current owner each had the car for 7 month periods and no documented (Audi dealer) service was listed on the carfax but the current owner claims to have had the 55k service done at a reputable german car repair place. I haven't seen the paperwork yet but if i move forward I'll check it out.
Thanks again
Thanks again

Thanks for everyone's ehlp. i decided to pull the trigger and take ownership of my (new to me) 2014 A7 in a few day. My first step will be to replace the worn out 20" tires. Going to need something all-season to handle the snowy weather here in the Boston area. Any suggestion on tires?
