I wouldn't say it's built rock solid, but then I wouldn't expect it to be for the price point.

That said I don't hear any noise from the back of the car while driving around with it, loaded or unloaded.

It fit's front to back on either side of the car as well as left to right at point closest to back of car. You can not however have it left to right pushed against the back seats because of how the Audi cargo area narrows.

JUST fit's front to back placed on either side. Also "TIGHT" fit placed side to side placed towards bumper. Too wide to place against seat backs due to narrowing cargo area. Also too far of a reach back there, even for someone over 6 feet like myself.

reporting back

after several months i am pretty sure i couldve done better
with a piece of strong cardboard to prop up groceries etc.
this thing is quite cheaply made, adds a rattle over bumps and always moves around. based on the layout i could see it useful for holding stacks of 8 X 11 docs, but thats not my need. and just having that GM dna in this car is well, yucky. if you must, dont pay more than 30 -40 bucks for it shipped.
cheers john.

I looked at both of the items discussed here. I wanted something smaller just for the detailing kit.. Polishes, bug remover, towels... I have the Snap On tool organizer. Velco hooks on the bottom, and I put the strap though the cargo net. I don't care for the logo but nobody sees it anyway. Handy item. Thought to pass it along.
